She may have been eliminated from Dancing With The Stars this week, but every cloud certainly has a silver lining for legal eagle Nancy Grace.

The 52-year-old TV commentator told Anderson Cooper that she had lost at least 25lbs (one and a half stone) in her eight weeks competing on the show.

‘I lost 25 pounds that I know of,’ she told the talk show host on his programme Anderson, which airs today.

The star revealed that she gained weight when pregnant with her twins, John David and Lucy, four.

‘I never really
cared about it or bothered to lose it,’ she said. ‘I lost
it like this, so I’m happy about it.’

And the star said she is determined to try to keep off the pounds despite the lack of rehearsal schedule now she’s out of the show.

‘Yes I am because I know it’s more healthy,’ she told Anderson. ‘You know my
dad’s a heart patient … so I do want to.

‘But I’m not going to have a
pro dancer eight hours a day so I don’t know what’s going to happen.’

Nancy, who presents nightly current
affairs show Nancy Grace on network HSN, has also said her weight loss
has come from being too tired to think about food.

‘It’s
incredible. I didn’t even try,’ she recently told ABC News.  ‘Frankly,
it’s not a good diet. It’s the “I’m too tired to eat” diet, which I
don’t advise to anybody. I’ve lost it completely by accident.’

And the week before her elimination with partner Tristan MacManus she said: ‘I’m not even hungry. I’m exhausted and nervous.’

However, the star did admit she hadn’t exactly been watching the scales since she started in the contest back in September which has seen her commute between her home in Atlanta and L.A. where the show is filmed.

‘I don’t know about the inches,’ she said. ‘I didn’t have a scale out here in Los Angeles, but I finally went and bought one.’

However, Nancy said her husband, banker David Linch is as impressed with her figure now as he was before her weight loss.

‘The truth is he thought I looked great the other way,’ she said
of her husband’s reaction. ‘My advice is if
your guy doesn’t like you how you are, you need to find a new guy.’

Nancy found herself in the bottom two last week alongside Rob Kardashian and his partner Cheryl Burke, who managed to scrape through to the next round.

‘I feel sad that we’re going home, but it’s kind of hard to be sad when you have so much to be happy about,’ she said following her elimination.

‘Having my twins here and having us go through this together is a dream I never would have thought would happen. I’m just thankful and blessed.’

Rob will compete alongside fellow celebrities Ricki Lake, J.R, Martinez and Hope Solo in the semi finals next week.

What’s with the getup she wore for the Jimmy Kimmel show? Does she dress herself?? How old is she??? REVAMP!

good for you Nancy, keep it up.

She is so hated in the U.S. – just look at the comments on Twitter!!!

Why don’t you keep on going Nancy? Don’t quit now. You’re on a roll and someday, if you don’t continue the loss, you will regret it. I guarantee it.

It was nice to see a fun side of her, she is always at an attacking mode. – Lawrence, Fargo, US …. Yes, I wish she would continue to show her fun side a bit more. I can’t watcher her cable show because she is constantly attacking or belittling someone.

She could lose another 25 and still would be bulky. Monstrous woman.
